Crime Prevention
Tachileik town was located in border area and intend to prevent incidence of crime. And also doing an improvement in the quality of life for citizen in community resident or in territoriality. So law enforecement from police department and accompany with community leadership were patrolling since 7th December 2014, 8 pm.
The team was lead by area responsibility police officer Myint Htwe with his best team, Wan Kong area community administrator U Tun Tun win, local volunteer from fire fighting unit, Army volunteers are participating the project and patrolling with motor cycle around the town.

Saturday Morning Walking
Swing day in Tachileik Town

Organized by District Governor U Tin Win Shwe and accompany with Township Mayor U Tun Tun Win, Township Educational Head U Sein Hla Aung and many other active leading personal are join together on Saturday Morning Walking exercises.
Follow by Tachileik school teachers with students, Township sport members, civil service personal also retirement and ages, many others are participating in the event.
It will take place in the following Saturday at 04:30 am in the same place.
View some teens are showing their break dance skill in the same area and also seen that after the event, area of Pong Tun, Tar Law and Say Khan natives are offering sticky rice as Myanmar traditional morning snack to participants.

Eastern Shan State 2109 Shan Happy New year day
Eastern Shan State 2109 Happy New Year celebration in Tachileik town since 4th December to 6th December 2014.
The Happy New Year celebration was organized by Shan Language and Culture committee.
Many people are participate in this celebration as you seen in the pictures.
As soon as opening Shan youth are singing the Shan Typical song and entertaining to all participants.
Regional Commending Major Zaw Naing Oo was given Shan Happy New Year speach and District governor U Tin Win Shwe also given the message to all Shan community.
Many people are participate the event and gathering family and friends with happiness.

2109 Shan New Year
2019 Shan New Year will celebrate in Eastern Shan State, Tachileik District and Township.
The event will take a place in Say Khan area of Shan Culture and Shan Language committee.
2109 Shan New Year Celebration will start on 4th December 2014 till 6 December 2014, the total of 3 days.
On Thursday 4th December 2014 opening New Year Celebration in the evening 7 pm Myanmar Standard Time.
On Friday 5th December 2014 at 8 pm offering dinner and culture show with entertaining Typical Shan singing hours.
On Saturday 6th in the morning 10 am inviting monks to the event and offering food and drinks. The same same night New Year Harvest Meals will be providing to all participants. During the meal time visitors can enjou Shan musical show by shan singers.
Those who are awaiting to purchase Thai custom dress and home made souvenirs can shopping during these 3 days.
